Parish look to start win run – double test awaits Heaton

Having made a winning start to the campaign, with an emphatic victory over Wakefield St Michaels, Parish were thrashed by champions Wrenthorpe, then had the rarity of a tie with Hunslet Nelson before losing by 104 runs against Altofts last week.

They will look to turn things around tomorrow with a trip to Northowram Fields, one of five teams below them in the table.

Victory for the Wellhouse Lane side would certainly boost their confidence, especially as Parish are out of both the Jack Hampshire Trophy and Heavy Woollen Cup.
