Overseas star sends Moor spinning to defeat
Saltaire have signalled their intentions of making a quick return to the top flight by capturing a quality overseas all-rounder.
Israr Ullah top scored with 67 and despite the efforts of Hartshead’s own overseas player Fahad Ul-haq (3-69), Saltaire posted 239-9.

Hide AdHartshead made a steady start in reply, reaching 38-1 before spin bowler Ullah claimed the last nine wickets and finished with incredible figures of 9-8 as Moor were bowled out for 54.
Gomersal cruised to a four-wicket win over Bankfoot with 15.4 overs to spare as they chased down the home side’s score of 162.
Jonathan Boynton (56no), Greg Pickles (45) and Jack Seddon (32) led the run chase.
Overseas player Sandeep Bavanaka (50) and Aaqib Uppal (48) led the way for Bankfoot, while off spinner Adam Greenwood (4-21) was pick of the Gomersal bowling.

Hide AdSpen Victoria suffered a four-wicket defeat at the hands of fourth placed Idle.
Rob Burton (40) and Matt Garside (31) led the way for Spen but they were restricted to 163-9 as Nick Cumming claimed 5-62.
Abid Awain threatened to get Spen back into the game by claiming 3-28 but opener Simon Curry played a patient innings of 54 to steer Idle to victory.
Gomersal are the highest placed local side in sixth, 14 points ahead of Spen, while Hartshead have slipped to ninth place.
