Huddersfield Giants youngster joins Dewsbury Rams on loan

Huddersfield Giants forward Jon-Luke Kirby has joined Dewsbury Rams on a short-team loan deal.

The 22-year-old can play in a number of positions in the forward pack, including at prop and in the second row.

In 2019, he spent time on loan with League 1 side Hunslet where he made 12 appearances before making his Super League debut for the Giants in a victory over Hull FC.

He went on to play two more games for the Giants in 2019, appearing in a defeat to St Helens and a win over Catalans Dragons.

Dewsbury Rams travel to Swinton Lions on Monday night looking to put an end to their three-game losing streak.
