Greenwood believes it will be easy for his squad to stay fit during isolation, in the hope that the Championship is able to resume.

“The majority of the lads are doing bits that our conditioner is sending them.

"There is no excuse not to stay fit, strength wise is obviously going to be difficult unless you have got your own weights and gym at home,” he said.

“Some lads have been working as well, so when they would normally come to training in the evening that is when they would need to stay in shape as much as they can.

“Nothing replicates training with your team and with me shouting at you but everyone is in the same boat on that.”

Greenwood has not been able to put concrete plans together in the case the season does not resume, adding: “There are so many unknowns and you can’t plan too much because we are not making the key decisions.”
