Their first-round clash in 2021 will be played on the weekend beginning March 20 and they will also discover who potentially awaits in the second round in tonight’s draw.

“It makes it more real then. It means we have dates to go at and an opponent to prepare for,” said head coach Greenwood.

“Hopefully the game will come around quickly after it has been drawn.

“We have been training for a while but as soon as you get a date and your first opponent, then you can start to get excited. We have missed it for a long time.”

He added: “Pre-season has been pretty disjointed and longer than what you normally do.

“In a lot of it we haven’t had contact so it is totally different to what we have done before.”

The Rams begin their Championship season at the beginning of April, following the first two rounds of the Challenge Cup.

The draw will be made at 5pm and be streamed live on the BBC Sport website.
