Nostalgia: Money changes hands for hospital
Regulars at a Thornhill Lees pub got stuck in to charity events to raise money for a local hospital.
Landlady Margaret Ward hands a cheque for £1,000 to David Turner, administrator at Staincliffe Children’s Hospital, surrounded by regulars at the Perseverence in Thornhill Lees.
Regulars from the pub mucked in with raising the money for the hospital, and customers raised the cash through an event involving walking, running and crawling!
