Nostalgia: Batley boy’s bowls triumph
More than 40 boys entered the annual bowling handicap for boys at Rock House Park, Batley Carr.
Fifteen-year-old Ian Poutney, of Millbridge Park, won the beginner’s competition. He is included in the photograph.
Sixty-four youngsters were originally meant to appear in the contest.
