Norristhorpe move second after victory

Headingley went ahead with a header following a cross from the left and it took time for Norristhorpe to settle, although they did manage to regroup and scored an equaliser before half-time.

Headingleysuffered a couple of injuries during the first half but with no substitutes available, their players were forced to continue carrying knocks.

Colton led after just two minutes after Jono Goodwin struck with a low shot after a superb Chris Hick pass.

Williams equalised with an excellent direct free-kick only for Colton toregain the lead after half-time through Vickers.

Wheelwright weathered further Colton pressure before they secured a share of the spoils when Williams bagged a second free-kick nine minutes from full-time, Dewsbury Rangers Reserves moved up to second place in Division Five thanks to a 4-0 victory over Shire Academics Thirds.

Matthew Briggs, Oliver Brooke and Chad Eggerton were among the Rangers goal scorers.

Woodkirk Valley Reserves played well to defeat improving bottom of the table Methley United 5-0.

Woodkirk move up to seventh place after goals from Marc Barnes, Richard Lambert (two) and Scotty Love (two) were enough to seal all three points.
