Norristhorpe frustrated as they exit Hancock Cup following City fight back
Norristhorpe appeared in control of last Saturday’s Hancock Cup tie against Leeds City OB after goals from Brendan Soulsby, James Scurrah, Danny Mountain, Dan Gannon and Matt Reid saw them comfortably ahead.
However, their defensive frailties again surfaced as they surrendered their advantage as Leeds City hit back with four unanswered goals to send Norristhorpe crashing out.

Hide AdWheenwright are safely through after a 4-2 victory at Collegians.
Dan Stevens levelled an early Collegians goal and Daz Forthergill put them 2-1 ahead soon after.
Wheelwright grabbed a third and although Collegians pulled a goal back, Johnny Beverley sealed victory with their fourth.
Batelians bowed out of the Terry Marflitt Trophy, losing 6-0 at home to Beeston Juniors, while their Reserves exited the Hodgson Cup losing 5-1 at home to former Spen Valley League side West End Park.

James Bland replied with Batelians consolation goal.
Jack Smith and Rob Smith scored to put Dewsbury Rangers 2-0 ahead against Huddersfield YMCA.
Oliver Dunn and Paul Polzin replied after the break to draw YMCA level and Bryn Green bagged the winner with a last minute free-kick.

Hide AdNorristhorpe Reserves earned a 4-3 victory over North Leeds Reserves.
North Leeds opened the scoring but Gav Saville was fouled inside the area and stepped up to stroke home the penalty.
A stunning 25-yard effort by Saville put Norristhorpe ahead, while substitute Scott Jackson and Brad Wild added to their tally to put them 4-1 ahead.
North Leeds pulled two goals back but Norristhorpe held on to secure victory.
