Nine-goal Mount will tackle Scholes in Blackburn quarter-finals

MOUNT Pleasant powered into the Heavy Woollen FA Under-15 Blackburn Cup quarter-finals with a 9-3 home win over Tingley Athletic Titans.

Harbeb Ahmeed (two), Zainul Abieen Pandor, Ziyaad Rawat, Hasan Daji, Abdurraheam Mayat, Danyall Majid, Sufyaan Hafez and Ozawr Makda scored while Tingley replied through Joshua Warrant (two) and George Parker.

Mount will now face Scholes (Christopher Molloy, Jacob Brason and Lewis Vernon) in the last eight on November 20 after they won 3-1 at home to Batley (Matthew Reid).

Ryan Hirst (two) and Rowan Binns scored in Hartshead A’s 3-2 success at Tingley Athletic and they now host Howden Clough A, while Wyke Wanderers will be home to Ossett Town A who won 7-2 at Battyeford.

Drighlington beat visitors Hartshead B 5-1 and they will now host Churwell Lions who triumphed 7-0 at home to Howden Clough B.

n Churwell Lions B roared into the Heavy Woollen Under-13 Secker Cup quarter-finals with a 4-2 home victory over Woodkirk Valley.

Brandon Hill (two), Jordan McMullen and Aiden Sheard struck for Lions B who now host Ossett Town in the last eight on November 20 after they won 6-1 at Hartshead (Joe Poskitt).

Churwell Lions A had a 5-1 success at Glen (Billy Donnelly) and they will visit Liversedge who eased to a 7-2 win over visitors Thornhill United.

Harvey Booth scored twice for Liversedge who also had Ben Hutchinson, Sam Trevitt, Jacob Burnley, George Dignan plus an own goal making up the tally.

Christopher Richardson and Eddie Manning replied for Thornhill United.

Gildersome Spurs won 5-1 against Ossett Albion B and will be at home to Savile Town (Kashif Baig, Talha Laher and Joshua Walton) who had a 3-0 success at Tingley Tigers.

Tyron Sagar (seven), Jamil Sair (three), Corey Joseph and Alex Newsome saw Dewsbury Rangers power to a 12-1 win at Wyke Wanderers (Onandi Francis) to earn a trip to Ossett Albion A.
