Nat Lawrence wins Sir Leonard Hutton Trophy

HANGING Heaton cricket secretary Nat Lawrence was honoured for his outstanding service when he was awarded the Sir Leonard Hutton Trophy at Friday’s Bradford League dinner, held at the Cedar Court Hotel.

Nat’s association with the Bennett Lane club stretches back over six decades and he is a past winner of the Reporter Series Sports Awards Lifetime Achievement Award.

Nat’s friends and family were present as a resume of his Hanging Heaton career was read out, while he received a standing ovation when he went up collect the coveted award.

The Sir Leonard Hutton Trophy is the highest honour the Bradford League can hand out and Nat will now become a life member of the league.
