After a six-week break the Spen Valley Flyers start training again this Saturday (September 3) at Whitcliffe Mount, starting at 5pm.
The club look forward to welcoming back old players and to encouraging new ones to try an exciting sport.
Anybody can attend the sessions as the kit and boots are available to borrow for the club which is in it’s third year.
They have already won league and cup doubles in the Under-11s and Under-13s while the Under-16s were runners-up in the cup.
The club are hoping Kieron Constable, 10, Charlie Oaks, 12, and Jenny Sullivan, 13, will be selected to train and play for England in their respective age groups.
All ages and abilities are welcome to join in on Saturday including quad, in-line skaters, street and roller hockey players or anybody who want to give the sport a go.
For further details attend the session or contact Jeanette on 07769 063014.
