DEWSBURY RAMS supporters have voted overwhelmingly to adopt a new club logo from next season.
In a poll, 96 per-cent of Rams supporters were in favour of the club chosing one of the four proposals, pictured above.
Voting takes place at the Bradford Bulls game on Sunday September 10, with the winning design revealed two days later.
Rams media volunteer Tom Coates has designed the four proposed logos and explained: “The current logo we have was designed in 2009 and first appeared as part of that season’s kit design, and there are a number of issues with it.
“It does not feature all three club colours, has no representation of the town of Dewsbury, does not reflect our history and bears a resemblance to the St Louis Rams American Football logo.
“The four options I have created feature a dynamic, charging ram and the club colours of red, amber and black. Two of the options also feature the blue and yellow checks from the coat of arms of Dewsbury, while three feature the year of the club’s establishment.”
Details of the voting process will be announced to supporters shortly.
