Dewsbury Rams forward Joel Farrell has been called into the Jamaican international train on squad, who are preparing for World Cup qualifiers against the USA and Canada.
Farrell admits it would be a proud moment if he is selected to represent Jamaica and believes they can spring a surprise.
He said: “Since being young, Jamaican culture, and all that comes with it, has been a big part of my upbringing. I’ll be incredibly proud to represent my family.
“I’ve visited Jamaica in the past. It’s an amazing place and I hope I can do everybody proud, help the team win this comp and then become the first ever Jamaican team to qualify for a World Cup. We can make history.”
