Moorlands closing in on CYL Div 1 title

MOORLANDS are looking to sign off their Central Yorkshire League era in style and are closing in on the Division One title.

Moorlands will leave for the Huddersfield League at the end of the current campaign but have led the first division for much of the summer and are now just three wins away from clinching the championship, although they are being pushed all the way by Ossett, who are just two points behind.

Moorlands will be aiming for a 14th win of the summer tomorrow when they welcome Buttershaw St Pauls to Memorial Park, while Ossett will be looking to maintain pressure on the leaders when they travel to Liversedge.
