Moor began brightly, with Bartley O’Brien, operating at full-back, coming into the attacking line to pose problems for the Doncaster defence.

One of O’Brien’s telling runs led to Bob Cavaghan going over but the final pass proved to be forward and the effort was ruled out.

James Samme switched from his usual position in the second row to play at stand-off and his powerful runs also proved a threat.

Moor capitalised when Toll Bar knocked on as they gained possession with Louis Greenwood and Samme linking to send Jacob Flathers sprinting down the wing to score the opening try.

Flathers landed the conversion and Moor led 6-0 after 15 minutes.

Toll Bar rallied and levelled matters 10 minutes later with a converted try.

Both teams tested each other out but Moor looked to have regained the lead when a superb long ball by Jordan Foster sent Scott Sheard in at the corner only for the pass to be ruled forward.

Moor continued to pile on the pressure and Samme was tackled inches short following another fine break as the half ended all square.

Chris Mortimer produced several testing runs, with support from his younger pack members Toby Richardson, Cain Crotty and Matt Shaw.

Brad Foster put George Croisdale through a gap before the centre switched play back for Foster to grab a decisive try, which Flathers converted.

Brad Foster also produced pressure-relieving kicks when Toll Bar threatened to hit back.

Toll Bar dropped a pass inside their own 22 and Jordan Foster reacted to pick up the ball and produced a long pass to send Scott Sheard over for a decisive try.

Shaw and Mortimer produced some fine tackles as Doncaster again threatened before another excellent Brad Foster touch-finding kick forced Toll Bar back.

Moor launched a final attack and after Greenwood went close, Brad Foster sent Mortimer over at the side of the posts, with Flathers converting.
