Liversedge Tennis Club appoint new head coach
Elena is originally from Russia but has been in the United Arab Emirates for the past eight years, where she has been working with young players and is also the former head coach of the Tennis Federation of the Republic of Udmurtia.
Elena has been coaching for 30 years and has a USPTR tennis coaching qualification and is able to coach at all levels from beginners to advanced, while she has coached students who have won European and ITF tournaments.

Hide AdElena is available to do both group and individual coaching, including mini tennis for young children interested in taking up the sport, while she also plans to hold tennis camps during the school summer holidays.
The club are delighted to have appointed Elena to take over the coaching role and a spokesperson said: “We are very fortunate to acquire a coach of Elena’s calibre and experience to nurture and take our juniors to a high level.”
The club run junior teams in the Huddersfield League, while also catering for men’s and ladies tennis.
They have two men’s teams in both the Huddersfield and Calderdale Leagues, together with a ladies team in the Calderdale League.
