Sedge went into the game full of confidence following last Saturday’s 2-1 win at Handsworth Parramore and they dominated for long spells.

They took a deserved first half lead but wasted several other chances to extend the advantage and were made to pay in the final minute.

Kieran Corley headed Liversedge into a 27th minute lead, while Andy Wood headed over shortly after as it remained 1-0 at half-time.

Ryan Waugh turned in the area but volleyed over and as Sedge continued to dominate Wood headed over and Corley shot wide from a Smith cross.

Wood had a glorious chance to seal victory a minute from time when he was sent through on goal but was unable to finish and Glasshoughton broke straight to the other end of the field and Del Pollock popped up to grab a last-gasp equaliser.

Danny Crithlow’s deflected shot drew Handsworth level but Liversedge stuck to their guns and Mitchell Pearson ghosted in at the back post to convert a cross and seal victory.
