Liversedge crash out of FA Cup at first hurdle
The first half proved a tight affair and the deadlock wasn’t broken until injury time.
Liversedge had created the best chance up until then when Adam Jarrett broke through and was brought down at the edge of the area, with Joe Swallow’s free-kick producing an excellent save from the goalkeeper.

Mick Chilton doubled Morpeth’s lead two minutes after the re-start and although Liversedge’s Sam Bibb went close with a header which crashed against the crossbar, the visitors then fell apart spectacularly.
Chilton added his second after 75 minutes and Scott Swanston put the game beyond reach with a fourth two minutes later.
Jordan Fry made it 5-0 before Taylor completed the rout with his second.
