n The KBW Club also staged a large regional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) interclub competition last Sunday, with over 300 people attending and over 70 competitors taking part in various disciplines.
MMA, grappling, Jiu Jitsu and K1 bouts were taking place simultaneously, with some fighters competing several times.
The event was attended by many martial arts and MMA clubs from across the area, making it a successful and enjoyable afternoon and the event helped provide a platform for beginners and novice fighters, who may wish to compete on the larger stages, to have their first taste of competition.
KBW are planning to host similar inter club events several times a year and with the club boasting over 8,000 square feet of space it is easy for them to accommodate such a large crowd.
