Kellett bags brace as Vision secure fourth win

Craig Kellett bagged a brace, while Liam Shields also netted, with Kirk Taylor replying with Whitburn’s consolation.

Mohammed Shoaib and Rehman Sultan were on target for Savile United but they were edged out 3-2 away to Smoking Aces, who moved above their opponents thanks to goals from Mohammed Adam, Imran Farooq and Ashraf Navsarka.

Savile Youth are up to fourth place following a 2-1 win over Route 1 Rovers, which came thanks to goals from Abdullah Aswat and Mohsin Hazi.

Mohammed Ali replied for Route 1, who missed the chance to move top.

Howden Clough secured a 6-3 victory over Savile Town in the Spen Valley Trophy with goals from Simy Moore (two), Troy Bagshaw, Jason Stainburn, Joe Armitage and Reece Scholes. Waqar Bashir, Huzaifah Adam and Sufyaan Sajid replied for Savile Town.

Said Said and Ismail Loonat were among the scorers as Norfolk overcame Cleckheaton Sporting (George Garforth) 4-1.

Benho Aparicio and Luke Newsome were among the scorers as George Healey drew 3-3 with Mount Pleasant, who replied through Anees Younis (two) and Muhammed Omar.

Dominic Simpson scored a brace for Fox and Hounds but was unable to prevent a 6-2 defeat at Hightown Jets, who had Nathan Clarke (two), Kyle Kershaw, Ryan Foster, Bradley Balmforth and Dale Motlib on target.
