Hussain blasts 137 in United triumph

Ammir Hussain struck a dozen sixes and 11 fours on his way to an impressive 137 for Dewsbury United as they eased to a six wicket win over Friends XI in Section B of the Dewsbury and District League.

The score dominated the innings as United needed 199-4 to get past Friends’ total of 194-7.

The other top scorers on the day were Farukh who scored an unbeaten 100 as Raven Star defeated Dewsbury Westside by 174 runs. Adnan made an unbeaten 108 not out in Warwick’s total of 253-6 as they beat Young Star by 107 runs.
