Fellows’ latest ton included five sixes and seven fours and he has already amassed more than 1,100 runs in 50-over cricket for his club this summer.

He also shared a third century opening stand of the season with Nick Connolly (66) which provided the foundations for the Hanging Heaton total of 217-4 in 38 overs.

Young paceman Elliot Richardson (3-54) emerged with the best figures for a Woodlands side missing key left-arm spinner Chris Brice.

Woodlands lost wickets as the pressure brought about by the weather and the challenging run rate led to their innings faltering.

Logan Weston (41) and Alex Atkinson (36) tried to force the pace but paceman David Stiff (4-24) ensured that Heaton secured victory.

Farsley’s South African opening batsman James Price was in good form at Tofts Road with his unbeaten 84 helping his side post 192-4 in 30 overs.

There were a couple of rain interruptions during the St Lawrence innings but although opener Adam Waite made 50, the last four Saints wickets fell for five runs as they closed on 168 and slipped to a second successive defeat.
