Hanging Heaton in hunt for second team treble
Heaton lie third in Bradford League Second Teams Division and will entertain either Ossett or Morley in the Crowther Cup semi-finals on July 6.

Hide AdCaptain Mark Inwood, who was man-of-the-match in last season’s shield final victory over New Farnley, top scored with 70 and Steve Bourne chipped in with 36 as Heaton made 161-9.
Pete Byrne, a five-times shield winner with Heaton, claimed 4-13 as Congs were dismissed for 79.
East Bierley suffered a 39-run defeat to second division Pudsey St Lawrence.
Ross Monaghan claimed 5-61 but St Lawrence posted 253-9 with Joshua Smith (69) top scoring.

Hide AdMonaghan then made 71, while Steve Simpson (45) supported but Bierley were dismissed for 214.
Morley could prove to be Hanging Heaton’s main rivals this season and they are also through to the semis.
Last season’s Second Team champions skittled out Bowling Old Lane for 58 as Spenser Horsfall picked up 5-21. Sam Medley hit an unbeaten 31 to steer Morley to a 10-wicket win.
Keighley will stage the shield final on August 10 and they defeated Bradford & Bingley by seven wickets to reach the last four.
