VIDEO: Bordman nets wonder goal as Ossett Town beat Bradford City
Dewsbury lad Rob Bordman netted a wonder goal as Ossett Town celebrated a brilliant 2-0 win over a Bradford City XI at Ingfield last night, Tuesday.
The clash with a strong City side attracted a big crowd of more than 400 at Town and the home fans were rewarded with a terrific win.
City’s team included senior players James Meredith, Jason Kennedy, Matt Taylor and Raffaele De Vita but the Evo-Stik First Division North team took the lead with a spectacular free-kick from former Liversedge FC player Bordman on 65 minutes.
Luke Blackburn pounced to net a second on 81 minutes and secure victory for Town.
