The 23 year-old striker latched onto Adam Clayton’s long ball to net a dramatic winner for the Terriers in Saturday’s Championship clash with Millwall.

Wells was signed for a club record fee on Friday after netting 15 goals for Bradford City this season and the Bermuda international came off the bench to score the only goal of the game as Ian Holloway suffered defeat in his first game as Millwall boss.

Town’s second win in three games puts them within five points of the top-six.
