Mirfield Town booked their place in the Heavy Woollen Challenge Cup final after they recorded a convincing 4-1 win over Roberttown Rovers at Overthorpe Park last Sunday.

Town lie second in the Premier Division table, level on 16 points with leaders Navigation, but they have played a game more,

Linthwaite are a point behind in third place but have games in hand on both joint leaders and they will look to join Town in the cup final when they face Clifton Rangers in the other semi at Overthorpe Sports Club this Sunday (kick off 11am).

Clifton lie fourth in the Championship but have not given up hope of winning promotion as they still have eight league games remaining.

Mount Pleasant extended their lead at the top of the Championship to four points after Faisal Adam (brace) and Adam Rawat both netted in an entertaining 3-3 draw with Scholes Athletic.

Second placed Deighton WMC lost ground on the leaders as they lost 5-2 at home to Wellington Westgate.

Mount Pleasant are four points clear of Deighton but have played three games more.

Jake Kilburn fired home for Ravenswharfe but they were held to a 1-1 draw by Wire Works to remain third from bottom.
