Ajose, who arrived from Peterborough United on a three-year deal in August, started the season in the first team, but has found opportunities limited in recent weeks.
The 23-year-old forward has played just four games and has not been involved since David Hockaday’s departure as head coach three months ago.

Out of favour Noel Hunt is expected to join Ipswich Town tomorrow, initially for a month, while Leeds could be open to offers for midfielders Luke Murphy and David Norris.
