Home start against Burnley for Leeds United

Leeds United will start their new season with a home game against one of the clubs relegated from the Premiership when the 2015-16 Championship campaign kicks off on Saturday, August 8

Burnley will travel to Elland Road for the opening game of the campaign with Leeds then away to Reading on Saturday, August 15 and to newly promoted Bristol City on Tuesday, August 18.

The first of the Yorkshire derbies takes place at Elland Road when Sheffield Wednesday are the visitors on Saturday, August 22 and the first month ends with an away game at Derby County, another club under new management.

United will end the season away to Simon Grayson’s Preston North End on May 7, while other notable dates include an away game against Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day, a home match against Derby County on December 28 and a home game against Milton Keynes Dons on January 2.

Leeds will play Huddersfield Town at the John Smiths Stadium on Saturday, November 7 and at Elland Road on Saturday, March 19.
