Exciting team pairs bowls finals go down to the wire
The Spen Valley Vets Team Pairs finals produced some excellent bowls action at the Cleckheaton Sports and Cleckheaton Moorend greens last Friday.
The Division One, Two and Three finals proved to be close fought and after the game ended in a draw, the Division Three showpiece went to an 11-up decider before Birkenshaw B eventually defeated Hightown B.
Hanging Heaton A beat Spen Victoria A in the Division One final while Cleckheaton Sports B claimed the Division Two crown with a victory over Harold Club.
