Dewsbury Rams bow out of Challenge Cup
DEWSBURY Rams suffered a disappointing 44-38 defeat to Swinton Lions as they bowed out of the Challenge Cup at Tetley’s Stadium last Sunday.
Dominic Brambani led the way for Dewsbury, scoring two tries and kicking seven goals but although the Rams produced a dramatic late fightback it wasn’t enough to prevent defeat.
Pat Walker and Rob Spicer scored a try apiece, while winger Austin Buchanan crossed twice but the Rams miss out on a lucrative trip to cup holders Warrington Wolves in the last 16.
