Cross eye top spot

SHAW Cross Sharks have the chance to go top of National Conference Division Two tomorrow at Ovenden.

Both sides recorded first day victories and the Sharks will be keen to make it a win double.

Ryan Glynn was in good form with two tries and four goals as the Sharks turned around a 18-6 half-time deficit to beat Widnes West Bank 24-18.

There was a winning start to the season for Dewsbury Celtic last week as they triumphed 34-18 at Heworth but they have no game tomorrow.
