Video: Hanging Heaton triumph in Heavy Woollen Cup final
Hanging Heaton made the most of the home pitch advantage at Bennett Lane with a dominant performance in which Gary Fellows produced a man of the match performance.
Fellows took 3-36, and in partnership with pace man David Stiff (4-15), skittled out New Farnley for 158 after 41 overs. Lee Goddard’s 36 was the highlight of the innings.

Hide AdHanging Heaton’s reply began cautiously but Fellows, who was dropped while on 32, went on to engineer a superb knock of 79 not out that secured victory with 12 overs to spare.
It was Fellows’ fifth Heavy Woollen Cup success in six seasons, his previous four coming at Wrenthorpe.
