Savile Town appeared on course for a comfortable win after they dismissed KK for just 44 with Javed Iqbal returning impressive figures of 7-5, supported by Tariq Hussain (2-11).

KK fought back brilliantly with Usman Maqsood (4-17) and Imran Maqsood (3-12) leading the way but Savile Town edged home with the last pair at the crease.

They are now 16 points clear at the top with three games remaining after closest rivals New Sanam suffered an eight-run defeat to PKWA.

Ansar Mahmood (32) and Tahiq Iqbal (24) were the leading run scorers as PKWA were bowled out for 150.

But it proved a winning total as New Sanam were restricted to 142 all out in reply, with Wajid Rafiq (3-20), Subhaan Ammar (3-21) and Sajid Mahmood (2-9) doing the damage.

The result effectively ends Sanam’s realistic title hopes as they must win their remaining three games and hope Savile Town do not pick up three points from their final matches.
