Nazakat Hussain claimed 4-27 in reply to help Heckmondwike restrict Adwalton to 176, despite Will Cutt top scoring with 43.

Leaders Wakefield St Michael’s continued their promotion push with a 135-run win over Sandal.

Mark Atkinson (77no) and Joe Finnigan (76) were again in good form while Richard Atkinson’s unbeaten 60 boosted St Michael’s score to 269-6.

Kristian Shuttleworth made 44, but Sandal could not find an answer to Finigan (6-24) and Junaid Delair (3-37) as they were all out for 134.

East Ardsley are nine points back after their 140-run win over Rodley.

They scored 253-4 and bowled out their opponents for 110.

Imran Mahboob (5-16) and Waheed Ahmed (5-27) gave Azaad a boost as they skittled out Gildersome for 47 to secure a 110-run win.

Zahoor Hussain (38) and Razwan Subhani (36) top scored in Azaad’s 157 while Razeeb Raja (3-21) and Liam Pearson (3-46) were the best of the Gildersome bowlers.
