Club aim to start girls team
FIVE girls need help to form a girls rugby team at Birstall Victoria.
The club has two girls playing in the Under-11s and one in the Under-10s and they have been joined by two girls from Batley Boys. Under the rules they cannot play in boys teams as Under-12s.
As there are no girls teams in this area the club want to set one up. They need to recruit girls in school years five and six.
The girls train at White Lee school field on Mondays from 6pm to 7pm. Girls don’t have to have played before. For details e-mail [email protected] or call Craig on 07827 625254.
