Champions complete season with triumph

G Harris led the way as he struck a splendid 108 as Leymoor were bowled out for 160.

It has still been a successful season for the Staincliffe side, who won three trophies.

Mount’s first team defeated Heckmondwike and Carlinghow in the Allsop Cup final while their seconds team completed the Section A title and Tinker Cup double.

Mount B dismissed Flockton for 81 last week, with A Hussain claiming 5-35 and completed an eight-wicket win with Makbul Hussain unbeaten on 61.

Heckmondwike and Carlinghow B finished a creditable fourth place in Section A after beating Calder Grove A by one run in their final game.

Veteran Brian Hill led the way with 57 as Heckmondwike were bowled out for 146.
