Celtic eye league treble – duo on the trophy trail

DEWSBURY Celtic seek a third win in the Conference National tomorrow at Warrington Wizards (3.30pm).

Celtic are top of the table on goal difference after a 34-30 victory over Coventry while the Wizards are seeking a first win.

On Wednesday Celtic’s Yorkshire League side face York Acorn A in the Gordon Teale White Rose Trophy final at Normanton (7pm).

White Rose are also on the trophy trail as they host Stanley A tomorrow (Saturday) in a Yorkshire League Alliance Cup semi-final (2pm).

Shaw Cross Sharks’ Danny Annakin has been named in the 24-man National Conference League Eagles squad for their game with French representative side Languedoc Roussillon on June 11 at Heworth.

The fourth-bottom Sharks end their Division Two campaign at second-placed Egremont tomorrow.

The Sharks’ Summer Conference side made a winning start last week in the Yorkshire West Premier, 32-18 at home to Leeds Akkies.

Dewsbury Moor are at Keighley Albion tomorrow in the Pennine League Championship. On Wednesday they visit Birstall Victoria in Division One East.
