Kashmir celebrated winning the Dewsbury District League Twenty20 Cup last Sunday.

Kashmir had won both their group games to qualify for finals day and they secured a 16-run victory over KK to reach the final.

Kasmir posted 129-7 batting first in their semi-final, before restricting KK to 113 all out.

Dewsbury Elite eased into the final as they dismissed Shaheen for just 62 and eased to an eight-wicket win.

Elite had won two and tied the other of their three group games on their way to finals day and a close final was expected.

Kashmir batted first and made 119-6 as Sohail Butt led the way with 48.

Elite’s challenge faded as they were dismissed for 85 in the face of good bowling from Wajid Hussain (4-16).
