Burgess brothers hand out U13 awards
SHAW Cross Sharks Under-13s held theie presentation night last Friday with Super League players Luke Burgess (Leeds Rhinos) and brother Tom Burgess (Bradford Bulls) handing out the awards.
The whole squad recieved team trophies and a certificate.
Player of the year: Luke Hooley, players player: Ryan Holland, parents-player: Nik Davis, top try scorer: Declan Sheehan, top tackler: Ryan Holland, most improved back: Joe Halloran, most improved forward: Ben Lyles, Terrance Harrison Memorial Trophy (special achievement): Charlie Willis, Jonney Burland Trophy (special achievement): Greg Wilson, club person of the Year: Christine Hartley for her hard work behind the scenes.
The parents also showed their appreciation and gave awards to coaches Jay Pitts, Alan Smith, Ady Ripley, touchline manager Jay Hooley, liasion officer John Salisbury and Jonnie Burland.Alan Smith also presented Sarah Hooley with an award for all her help.
