Bingham holds nerve to land match winning goal

CAPTAIN Adam Bingham landed a terrific last minute touchline conversion to send Batley Boys into the third round of the BARLA Yorkshire Cup after a thrilling clash against Hull outfit Albert at Staincliffe last Saturday.

Batley trailed 4-0 at half-time but responded with a 55th minute Aran James try which Bingham goaled.

Albert regained the lead with a converted try but with time running out, Richard Moody carried three defenders over the line for the crucial equalising score and Bingham’s touchline goal won it.
