Rothwell pulled a goal back before Nicky Whitehead blasted home a 30-yard thunderbolt. Olivia Roadnight had a goal ruled out before Keely Honeybell and Whitehead combined for Consterdine to score.

Matilda Anderson went close late on before two Rothwell consolations.

It is a terrific achievement considering the Belles moved up to an age group higher than their own age. To have won the league so early in the season is a remarkable feat and all at Battyeford Sporting Club are extremely proud of.

The Belles are always interested to hear from girls who would like to play football – anyone wanting more details should visit www.battyeford.co.uk and go to our contacts tab on the home page.
