Yorkshire butcher recalls burgers over health risk

A leading Yorkshire butcher has recalled of a batch of burgers over health fears caused by a labelling error.

The Smiths Beef & Caramelised Onion Burgers were wrongly marked with a use by date of 25 July 2016 instead of the correct 26 June 2016 use by date.

The Wetherby-based company has warned that consuming the burgers after their correct use by date could potentially pose a risk to health and has urged anyone who bought the product not to eat it.
