Woman injured after being hit by a car in Livesedge

Police are appealing for information after a woman received injuries in a collision in Liversedge.

Huddersfield Police would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision on Liversedge Hall Lane on Saturday May 7.

It took place at about 10.15am after the victim, a vulnerable 42-year-old woman, was in collision with a car while crossing a road.

The victim received bruising to her arm and was later checked over in hospital.

The driver did stop at the scene and checked whether the victim was OK.

PC 637 Jack Bailey of Huddersfield Patrol Team One, said: “We are investigating this incident and police are appealing for any witnesses or the driver of the vehicle to come forward.

“We would like to speak to them to find more detail about what took place - the driver did stop at the scene but no details were left.

“The driver or anyone who has information is asked to contact myself at Huddersfield Police on 101.”
