A MOTHER discovered her son hanging in her garage after he had gone missing.
Huddersfield Coroner’s Court heard that David Anthony Oran, 44, of Heckmondwike Road, Dewsbury, had been suffering from depression prior to his death on May 16 this year.
Mr Oran, who was married but living with his mother at her house on Halifax Road, Liversedge, at the time he died, had been missing for a short time before Doris Oran found him.
He was taking anti-depressants but a post-mortem report said Mr Oran had not taken an overdose.
Coroner Roger Whittaker said all the evidence led him to the conclusion Mr Oran had intended to take his own life.
