Woman dies in M62 bridge plunge
A WOMAN has fallen to her death from a bridge onto the M62 at Morley.
The 43-year-old, who has not been named, fell from the bridge on Rein Road onto the hard shoulder of the motorway around 2.30pm on Sunday.
The westbound carriageway of the motorway between junctions 27 at Gildersome and 28 at Tingley was closed for around an hour while emergency services were on the scene.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the woman’s death was not being treated as suspicious.
