Woman dies after being hit by car
A woman has died after being hit by a car in the early hours of yesterday morning (Sunday).
The Ford Ka hit the woman outside Woodkirk Valley Country Club on the A653 Dewsbury Road ten minutes after midnight.
She was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where she died of her injuries.
