Woman, 80, knocked down on Birkenshaw roundabout
AN elderly woman suffered leg injuries when she was knocked down this morning.
The 80 year old was knocked down by a red Nissan Duke at 11am today in Turnpike Close, Birkenshaw.
A police spokeswoman said she was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with leg injuries. Her condition is not thought to be life threatening.
