We’re in the pink!

SHOPKEEPERS have been thinking pink this week to show their support for the Breast Cancer Campaign.

Dozens of shops in Dewsbury put up pink decorations and window displays and took donations for the charity.

Wendy White, manager of Boots in the Princess of Wales Precinct, said: “This is an issue that is particularly close to the hearts of so many of our customers, so it’s great to help out.”

Rob Stokes, whose wife Angela runs Blossom and Berries florist in the Arcade said: “There is no cure for breast cancer and sufferers do need help, and everybody needs to be aware of it.”

Tiffany Briggs, manager of Bon Marche in Market Place, said: “It’s great charity that touches everybody’s lives in some way.”
