Weekly crime report for Mirfield and Hopton

A shed roof, windows and a phone line were among the items damaged in Mirfield last week.

Thieves broke into a shop in Huddersfield Road in Eastthorpe on January 26.

A metal cage inside the building was forced open and gas bottles were stolen.

The theft happened at about 5pm.

The external phone line outside a house in Huddersfield Road, Stocks Bank, was cut on January 27.

It happened at about 11am.

Burglars broke into a building in Station Road, Lower Hopton on January 28.

They stole clothes and fled the scene in a white van at about 10.42am.

Garden netting at a house in Huddersfield Road, Stocks Bank, was damaged on January 28.

It happened at about 5pm.

The windows of a building in Wilson Road in Knowl were smashed on January 30.

The damage was caused at about 5pm.

The roof of a shed in Littlemoor Road in Knowl was damaged on January 31.

It happened at about 5pm.
